Alina Mikolajczyk is a translator/interpreter and an educational consultant. She is a member of the ATA (American Translators Association) and assists students with evaluation and transferring foreign education certificates and credits, choosing a college and securing a student visa.
Mikolajczyk has been promoting education among the Polish immigrant community since 1993; formerly at the National Louis University where she served as the Assistant Director of Student Enrollment, and since 2005 as the owner of Educational & Communication Consulting.
Mikolajczyk works closely with the Polish Radio FM and other media, organizations and colleges in Illinois and beyond. She is the author of numerous articles on education in the United States.
Mikolajczyk immigrated to the United States from Poland in 1992. She has a Master of Arts in Teaching and Linguistics degree from the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland and took graduate level courses in Adult Education, Communication and Counseling at the National Louis University in Chicago.
She serves as Vice-President of Polish Women in Business where she formerly held the post of President from 2009 – 2013.
